Common methods of frequency converter frequency adjustment
Common methods of adjusting the frequency of the inverter mainly include operation panel adjustment, external device control, multi-speed control, communication interface control and parameter setting adjustment.
1. Operation panel adjustment
The inverter is usually equipped with an operation panel, and the frequency can be manually adjusted through the buttons or knobs on the panel. This method is suitable for occasions where the inverter is close to the operator and the frequency needs to be adjusted frequently.
2. External device control
The control signal is sent through an external device (such as PLC, computer, etc.) to transmit the desired frequency to the inverter. This method is suitable for automatic control systems and can achieve remote control and precise control.
In the analog speed control mode, the speed command signal can be directly input into the analog input port of the inverter through a potentiometer or PLC analog board to adjust the inverter output speed in real time.
3. Multi-speed control
The PLC controls the different input ports of the inverter to achieve multi-stage adjustment of the inverter speed. This method is suitable for occasions where multiple speed segments need to be preset, such as different operating speeds required for different workstations on a production line.
4. Communication interface control
Inverters with communication functions support communication with other devices through communication interfaces (such as RS485, Ethernet, etc.) to receive frequency instructions from external devices. This method is suitable for occasions where data exchange with other devices or systems is required.
5. Parameter setting adjustment
Enter the parameter setting mode of the inverter and adjust the output frequency of the inverter by modifying the frequency-related parameters (such as output frequency, upper frequency limit, lower frequency limit, etc.). This method is suitable for occasions where the output frequency of the inverter needs to be accurately controlled.
