Common Faults of Inverter-5
Overload protection (OL):
- Overload protection (OL) is a protection mechanism widely used in electrical equipment and systems, mainly to prevent the motor or other load equipment from being damaged by overload.
1. When "FO OL" is displayed on the keyboard of the inverter, "OL" flashes. At this time, you can press the "∧" key to enter the fault query state, and you can find out the operating frequency, output current, and operating status at the time of the fault. And the size of the output current, if the output current is too large, it may be caused by overloading, at this time, the acceleration and deceleration time, V/F curve, torque boost, etc. should be adjusted. If it is still overloaded, you should consider reducing the load or replacing the inverter with a larger capacity.
2. If the output current is not large when checking the fault, you should check whether the parameters of the electronic thermal overload relay are appropriate.
3. Check whether the HALL and the line are defective.
